28 مئی (یوم تکبیر) پاکستان کے لیے ایک اہم دن ہے کیونکہ اس دن (28 مئی 1998) پاکستان نے ایٹمی قوت ہونے کا عملی مظاہرہ کیا۔ اس دن پاکستان نے بھارت کے ایٹمی دھماکوں کا جواب دیتے ہوئے بلوچستان کے ضلع چاغی میں ایٹمی دھماکے کیے۔ ان دھماکوں سے دشمن کی حربی برتری کی خوش فہمی ختم کر دی گئی اور پاکستان کا دفاع ناقابل تسخیر بنا دیا گیا۔ اللّٰہ کا لاکھ لاکھ شکر ہے کہ اس نے پاکستان کو ایٹمی قوت بننے کی توفیق بخشی وگرنہ انتہا پسند اور جارحانہ سوچ کی حامل ہندو قوم اپنے ناپاک ارادوں کی تکمیل میں تمام حدیں پار کر جاتی۔ یہ دن پاکستان کی آزادی کی ضمانت، سلامتی اور قومی یکجہتی کا دن ہے۔ اس دن ہمیں قوم کے ان محسنوں کو بھی خراج عقیدت پیش کرنا چاہئیے جنہوں نے پاکستان کو ایٹمی قوت بنایا۔ ذوالفقار علی بھٹو، ڈاکٹر عبدالقدیر خان اوردیگر سائنسدانوں کو سلام۔
May 28 (Youm-e-Takbeer) is an important day for Pakistan because on this day (May 28, 1998), Pakistan demonstrated its capability as a nuclear power. On this day, Pakistan conducted nuclear tests in the Chagai district of Balochistan in response to India's nuclear explosions. These explosions dispelled the enemy's illusion of strategic superiority and made Pakistan's defense invincible. Countless thanks to Allah for granting Pakistan the ability to become a nuclear power; otherwise, the extremist and aggressive Hindu nation would have crossed all limits in fulfilling its impure intentions, as it is doing in Kashmir. This day is a guarantee of Pakistan's freedom, security, and national unity. On this day, we should also pay tribute to the benefactors of the nation who made Pakistan a nuclear power. Salute to Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan, and other scientists.
